The first Arab plastic surgery (Arabia Plast 2017) got underway today in Bahrain at the Gulf Hotel convention centre.
The event which runs until Sunday (March12) is being held under the auspices of Supreme Council for Health (SCH) President Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa.
Leading experts and doctors specialized in plastic surgery and burns from Bahrain and 32 other countries are taking part in the four-day event.
Addressing the inaugural session on behalf of the SCH President, Health Ministry Undersecretary Aisha Mubarak Bu’unq stressed the importance of the medical event.
Three events are oganised during the four-day event – the 13th Conference of the Pan Arab Association of Burns and Plastic Surgery, the 9th Conference of the GCC Association of Plastic Surgeons and 3rd Bahrain International Conference of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery.
