Arab conference on women’s role in family

The participants in an Arab conference on "women’s role in family cohesion and social stability," held in Algiers, praised the Algerian experience in promoting the role of women in all levels.
Speaker of the Arab Parliament (AP), Ahmed Bin Mohamed al-Jarwan described the Algerian experience in this field as "model of modern-day school."
Hailing the "heroic" input of the Algerian woman during the glorious war of liberation, Speaker of the Arab Parliament hailed the efforts made to strengthen the Algerian women’s role in achieving development.
As for her, the head of the Arab League’s department for women, family and children, Ines Sayed Mekkaoui praised the achievements made by Algerian women under the reign of President Abdelaziz Bouteflika by assuming positions in elected bodies and government departments, dubbing Algeria, a "model to follow in the Arab world."
After saluting the resistance of the Palestinian woman, president of the Arab Organization of the Family, Djamel Benabid recommended research formulas and methods efficiently address the various issues affecting the Arab family.
In this context, he stressed the importance of "formulas and participatory methods" in dealing with the issues of the Arab family.
