Zagazig University President Ashraf el-Sheihy inspected a number of faculties to follow up the educational process and to make sure that it is going well.
In statements Monday, el-Sheihy said that he issued directives to the faculties' deans to spot any violations that could be committed by university professors in order to take the necessary legal measures against them.
He also affirmed that law will be applied on anyone who attempts to hinder the educational process or commits violations against the regime.
He further said that more than 30 students were referred to a disciplinary council for committing riot acts.
