Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab inspected on Tuesday a waste water treatment plant at Cairo University.
The plant was established as part of a research project with a Japanese university.
Mahlab ordered forming a ministerial committee to take practical steps to operate the facility.
He also lauded the role played by the research system at Cairo university in overcoming obstacles facing the society.
