The Board of Trustees of the University of Jordan (UJ) headed by its President, Prof. Khaled Toukan, and upon the recommendation of the University of Jordan President, Prof. Ekhleif Tarawneh, decided to carry out a number of  academic Changes. The Board has decided to appoint Prof. Azmi Mahafzah as Vice-president for Scientific Faculties, Prof. Mohammed Walid Batsh as Vice-president for Quality Assurance and Scientific Research and Prof. Musa Al Lozi as Vice-president for Training and Community Service. Also, the Board agreed to reappoint all of Prof. Hani Dmour as Vice-president for Humanities Faculties and Prof. Shtayiwi Abdullah as Vice-president for Administrative and Financial Affairs. Moreover, the Board decided to appoint the following: Prof. Mahmoud Hammad as Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. Prof. Zaid Bqaeen as Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry. Prof. Fathiya Abu Mghali as Dean of the Faculty of Nursing. Prof. Raedah Qutob as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. Prof. Rula Darwish as Dean of the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences. Dr. Zoubi Al Zoubi as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Business. Prof. Bassam Al Omari as Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences. Prof. Mohammed Al Khatib as Dean of the Faculty of Shari’a. Dr. Mayson Al Nahar as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Archaeology and Tourism. Prof. Abatah Zab’an as Dean of the Faculty of Arts. With regards to the University of Jordan branch in Aqaba, the Board decided to Appoint Prof. Hamid Bdour as Assistant to the President of the Aqaba branch and Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Systems, Prof. Tariq Al Najjar as Dean of the Faculty of Marine Sciences, Dr. Firas Rawashdeh as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Management and Finance, Dr.  Saleem  Handal as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality and Dr.  Adnan Smadi as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Languages.
