The Gulf University will hold its first media forum under the theme: “Media and Arabian Gulf Challenges”.
Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Ali Al-Romaihi will patronise the maiden symposium, in the presence of academic, media and political personalities from the Arab region.
The participants will debate security and economic challenges facing the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, in light of international political and media shifts.
Gulf University President Dr. Muhannad Mashhadani stressed the importance of the forum which will focus on the vital role of the media in highlighting the Arabian Gulf challenges.
Keynote speakers include former Egyptian Minister of Education and Scientific Research Dr. Moufid Shehab, King Abdul-Aziz University Economy professor Habibulla Turkestani, Bahrain Journalist Association (BJA) Chairman Mo’aness Al-Mardi, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) board member Khalid Al-Amin and other personalities.
