The Damietta University announced Saturday a three-day mourning after army servicemen were killed in a Sinai terrorist attack on Friday.
The university offered condolences to the victims' families and wished the injured soldiers a speedy recovery, asserting that the Egyptian army and people will wipe out terrorism, University President Ramadan Tantawi said.
A teaching staff meeting scheduled Saturday was postponed till Sunday in solidarity with the tragic incident, he added.
