A misdemeanor court in Alexandria acquitted Wednesday six students from charges of provoking riots at Alexandria University.
The acquitters were tried over charges of belonging to an outlawed Muslim Brotherhood group, instigating violence against police and the army, disrupting classes, and taking part in a protest without necessary security permissions.
The court cleared the defendants from all charges.
