Alexandria University and Gama Abdel Nasser University of Conakry in Guinea-Conakry signed on Monday a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in fields of mutual concern.
They will exchange visits by teaching staff members under the MoU. They will also cooperate in scientific research particularly in genetics, medicine, computer science and environment.
The accord was hailed by Guinea Conakry's Ambassador Soriba Camara who also appreciated Egypt's support for African countries.
He said Cairo's interest to restore cooperation with several states of the continent is highly realized by his country.
