Alexandria police were able to disperse a group of Muslim Brotherhood supporters who gathered at Alexandria University and arrested 37 of them.
The arrestees are accused of inciting violence and possessing Molotov cocktails and firecrackers, as well as provocative flyers against the army and police.
Police troops intervened at the request of the president of AU.
All legal measures have been taken against the arrestees.
