Emergency services from Oman's Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance were rushed to the Musandam General Education School after a fire broke out in a classroom.

Ambulance crews were also on standby, but were not needed in the northern governorate, as no casualties were reported, tweeted PACDA, from their official account. 

The cause of the fire is being determined.
