Social Solidarity Minister Ghada Wali said the early drug detection committee among school bus drivers continues its work.
In press statements on Sunday, the minister stressed that the percentage of taking drugs among drivers has dropped.
The committee has examined 279 drivers in Cairo and Giza governorates during the second week since it started its work this semester.
Some 13 drivers were tested negative to drug addiction, while 31 others tested positive, making 3.7% and of the total sample that underwent the examination, Wali added.
