Education Minister Majed bin Ali Al Nuaimi has congratulated the graduates of Al Iman School on their success, wishing them further achievements in their lives.
The minister who was patronising the graduation ceremony in the presence of parents, relatives and school officials said that Al Iman had been steadily improving the performance of its male and female students and that this year, it added the achievement of accomplishing an outstanding score in the reading challenge competition, by ranking among the top three among the 30,000 schools that participated from across the Arab world.
Al Nuaimi stressed that the ministry would spare no effort to support private educational institutions and encourage investment in the crucial educational sector to help keep the educational process move successfully forward.
Several outstanding national and international achievements were accomplished thanks to the efforts exerted by the ministry to boost learning standards, he added.
Bahrain achieved top score in the pan-Arab science competition and the second best in mathematics, the minister said.
In his speech, Adel Al Muawda, the chair of the board of trustees of the school thanked the education minister for patronising the graduation ceremony, saying that Al Iman had adopted several measures to boost its educational and learning services and to provide special care for outstanding students to boost their motivation and bolster their creativity.
