As part of its community partnership with public and private organizations and institutions in the Kingdom, the Ministry of Education (MOE)'s Directorate for Organization and Committee Affairs met representatives of the Central Governorate.
The meeting explored procedures to enhance coordination and cooperation between the Ministry and the Governorate.
The Ministry's Acting Director for Organizations and Committees Affairs, Kifaya Al-'Anzour, said that the meeting discussed the role of the Directorate in mutual coordination and follow-up of all planned activities and events organised by the Governorates pertaining to the Ministry and related to youth affairs, stressing the importance of youth as the broadest segment of the society and the future of the country.
The Governorate's Director for Social Programmes and Community Affairs, Fatima Al-Jowder, has welcomed the reinforcement of this community partnership praising the role of the Governorate and keenness on the welfare of the local community and attending to its issues and concerns. She also expounded on the Governorate's duties and functions and programmes organized with public and private institutions.
The two sides agreed to boost their bilateral cooperation and to follow up the implementation of activities in the governorate related to the Ministry and to provide all forms of support and the requirements of these events.
The meeting was also attended by specialists from several staff members from the Directorate and the Governorate.
