Academic year in schools started Saturday in 12 governorates.
More than 18 million students went to schools today.
Education Minister Mahmoud Abul-Nasr said that the ministry took all the necessary preparations to start the new academic year.
In exclusive statements to MENA Saturday, Abul-Nasr said that there is cooperation with security directorates throughout Egypt's governorates to secure schools, students and teachers.
