Authorities in Tennessee say they have uncovered new evidence in the case of missing middle school teacher Shelley Mook. Mook, an eighth-grade teacher at Harris Middle School in Shelbyville, vanished Feb. 28, 2011, at the age of 24, WKRN-TV, Nashville, reported. Investigators said Mook dropped her daughter off at her ex-husband's home, and her car was found abandoned and burned later that night in a field outside Murfreesboro. Mook was never found. Her ex-husband, Tyler Mook, has remained a person of interest in the case, but has never been arrested. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said investigators confiscated the van of Tyler Mook's neighbor for evidence in the case Dec. 27. Details on the evidence were not released.
