A group of gunmen launched an attack Tuesday on Libya's official television station in a bid to control transmission.The assailants used machine guns and shoulder-propelled grenades to attack the building in the Libyan capital.The forces securing the premises of the station exchanged fire with the attackers and maintained security in the region.After three years since the ouster and slaying of longtime dictator Muammar Gadhafi, Libya's government still suffers little control on the Arab state.
