It looks like X-Files isn't the only 1990s television show staging a comeback. NBC announced it's bringing back Craig T. Nelson for a 13-episode revival of the sitcom Coach.
The series originally aired on ABC from 1989 to 1997, starring Nelson as the head coach of a football team at Minnesota State University.
The revamped series will be a sequel to the original, following Hayden Fox as he leaves retirement to be assistant coach alongside his son, who is head coach, at an ivy league school in Pennsylvania.
The series will be shot as a multi-cam sitcom, and original creator Barry Kemp is returning to write. So far no other actors have been attached to the project. It's also unclear when the series will air.
Nelson recently wrapped up the final season of NBC's Parenthood.
