The National Centre for Documentation and Research and a delegation from Al Etihad Newspaper archives department has discussed ways to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise between the two archives of these institutions. During the meeting, the delegation was briefed on the methods of electronic archiving of documents and workflow aspects of archival activity at the centre. The members of the delegation expressed admiration for the efforts of the centre and the attention paid to preserve documentation for younger generations by means of all available modern techniques and using the experience of the most advanced and developed archives in the world. The meeting addressed the system used by electronic content management in ICM Centre and other programmes, as well as how to process documents of all types and forms through this system and its programmes. The parties also discussed the possibility of opening more channels between Al Eitihad Newspaper\'s archives and the archives of the global centre, which preserves millions of documents dealing with the history and heritage of the UAE and the Gulf region.
