Model Karlie Kloss is reportedly leaving Victoria's Secrets later this year to focus on her modeling career and her new role as an NYU student.
"Karlie is stepping down from her Angel duties," a source told People magazine. "She's got a busy but exciting year ahead and the decision came down to timing. She'll be focusing on her modeling career, new business opportunities and NYU starting in the fall."
Kloss, 22, has participated in the lingerie brand's fashion shows since 2011 and was named an "Angel" in 2013.
News that she's ending her contract with Victoria's Secrets comes days after the model revealed in the March issue of Vogue that she was accepted in NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study.
"I'll still be working full-time," Kloss, told the magazine. "I'm incredibly ambitious and have lots of goals within my career that I'm not slowing down on anytime soon."
In addition to her VS gig, Kloss is a spokeswoman for Kate Spade New York and L'Oréal Paris. on Monday the model walked the NYFW runway for Carolina Herrera.
