Tehran - FNA
Iran's diplomatic mission at the United Nations in New York in a statement rejected the recent allegations by the US-based Wall Street Journal newspaper about Iran's nuclear program as unfounded and baseless.
On Tuesday, the US newspaper cited a report by the terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO, also known as MEK, NCRI or PMOI) as saying that Iran "has kept active and intact its core team of weapon researchers".
"It is regretting that the Wall Street Journal has published the fabricated and repetitious allegations by a terrorist group that its inhumane nature is evident for all, specially the US public opinion," the statement said.
The statement added that the radical groups are witnessing that their heavy and long-term investment on making Iran's nuclear program politicized has been diminishing and the Iranophobia scenario is being isolated day by day and hence they are angrily fabricating and engage in propagations against Iran's peaceful nuclear program.
"As it has been stipulated in the recent report of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Iran and IAEA have good cooperation and Tehran has been committed to its obligations within the framework of the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT)," it added.
