Supreme Council of the Press

Boards of five state-owned press institutions have submitted a petition to the Supreme Council of the Press demanding it to speed up choosing the rest of their board members.
The petition was signed by Rose Al-Youssef, Dar Al-Tahrir, Dar Al- Helal, Al-Ahram and Dar Al-Maaref institutions.
They said they want to be active participants in the drafting of the press legislation, urging the council to appoint the board members not later than December 11.
