Actress Sophia Loren is writing her first memoir, titled Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow: My Life as a Fairy Tale, to be released in December.
The book, published by Atria Books, was announced Thursday.
"Her long awaited memoir gives her many fans a glimpse of the woman who has left her mark on an era — from the challenges of growing up poor and hungry in wartime Italy to the flowering of her career and the joys of being a mother and grandmother," said Judith Curr, president and publisher of Atria Publishing Group.
It will include a collection of letters, photographs and other memorabilia from her film career, including a sketch she made of husband Carlo Ponti.
