Before celebrating her 57th birthday on Monday, television host Ellen DeGeneres shared on Twitter a picture of her "last sunset of 56."
On Sunday, DeGeneres posted a photo of herself and her wife Portia de Rossi going for a stroll in the beach. In the caption, DeGeneres said she was enjoying the view with her "favorite person."
During her talk show on Monday, the host received a special performance from Keith Urban, gave away two Mercedes-Benz vehicles and spoke on the phone with her birthday twin Vice President Joe Bidden.
In anticipation of her big day, DeGeneres wrote on Twitter on Jan. 23 she would be celebrating "all week long."
