The United Nations has welcomed a Turkish court order lifting restrictions on YouTube on Friday.A spokesman for the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Rupert Colville, said:"We welcome it. I think we made it clear that we thought banning Twitter in this way was an excessive action and impacted on freedom of expression and opinion. So we certainly welcomed the lifting the ban on Twitter and on YouTube”.Colville repeated the UN position that blocking access to YouTube and Twitter that entirely restricts fundamental human rights.
