The UAE's National Media Council organised on Sunday a workshop on excellence, innovation and identification of future prospects to introduce the National Innovation Strategy and highlight the role of the council's staff in implementing this strategy.

During the three-day workshop, moderated by Dr. Salim Al Salim, an expert in enhancing government performance, the council's employees learned about innovation and ways of achieving institutional excellence by foreseeing future developments, analysing and identifying opportunities and pre-emptive solutions to challenges.

Positive thinking as a basis of excellence and innovation, adapting to global changes and countering challenges of modern age were among topics discussed during the workshop.
