A Saudi paper urged Egyptian powers to return to the negotiating table as the only way for getting out of the current stalemate and stemming the bloodshed. The Saudi newspaper al-Riyadh said supporters and protesters of the president's new constitutional declaration have their own arguments. The paper said political disputes can only be solved via dialogue. Meanwhile, the Saudi paper Okaz said the feuding parties have to understand that their dispute could lead to a deterioration at the social, economic and security levels, urging both sides to resort to reason and return to the negotiating table. Mass demonstrations gripped Egypt after the new constitutional declaration issued by President Mohamed Morsi on Thursday. Under the declaration, the president's decisions are final and can't be appealed. Prosecutor general Abdel-Meguid Mahmoud was sacked.
