Chairperson of the State Duma (Russia's lower parliament house) Financial Market Committee Natalia Burykina introduced a draft law on rating agencies in the Russian Federation, the State Duma said on Friday.
The Financial Market Committee told TASS the draft law will establish the legal basis for the business of rating agencies, stipulating their accreditation with the Bank of Russia. The Committee made no comment on specific provisions in the document.
