A pro-Arab league group on Sunday slammed a media campaign against Arab league chief Nabil El Arabi.
"This campaign is groundless and can not be justified," the Friends of Arab League said in a statement.
It questioned the timing of the campaign as the Arab summit is about to be held this week in Egypt.
