The girl who mimicked His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, was back in the spotlight on Wednesday as she performed for the Ruler at an operetta.

Sheikh Mohammed was attending Hathi Biladi (This is My Homeland) Operetta, organised by the Ministry of Education and performed by over 500 school students.

The operetta was held under the patronage of The President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, at Dubai World Trade Centre.

One of the highlights of the evening was a performance by Muhra Ahmed Al Shehi, a 6-year-old first grader who became an online star in 2016 after a video clip of her imitating Sheikh Mohammed went viral on social media.

Impressed by the girl's adorable performance, the Ruler even visited her home in Sharjah to meet her.

The girl did not expect that her video, which was meant to be a rehearsal for her school assembly, would reach His Highness. The original post on Instagram has garnered thousands of views, since it was posted last year.
