As part of examining the last preparations by the Kuwaiti pavilion at the upcoming Expo Milano 2015, Kuwait's Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information Salah Al-Mubaraki met here on Saturday with General Manager, Participants Division at Expo Milano 2015, Stefano Gatti. In a statement to KUNA, Al-Mubaraki expressed total satisfaction with the Kuwaiti participation in the expo, hoping that the visiting public would find the Kuwaiti pavilion interesting and informative. Kuwait was the second of 142 countries participating in the expo which submitted the layout for its pavilion, getting a substantial head start on others and having ample time to plan the pavilion's presentations and displays, said Gatti, in a similar statement to KUNA. Gatti praised the Kuwaiti pavilion, noting that the expo was expected to attract no less than 22 million visitors in addition to at least a billion others who will follow its activities on the Internet. The Kuwaiti pavilion will be situated between those of the United States and Germany and will operate under the banner line The Challenges of Nature. A visitor of the pavilion will be able to get a unique insight into how Kuwait managed to employ its wealth to tame nature and create a welcoming, dynamic and lively country despite harsh weather and topographical conditions. Elements of desert and water will showcase the huge challenges faced by Kuwait while reclaiming barren land and acquiring water. Local institutions and agencies contributing to the Kuwaiti pavilion include the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Electricity and Water, Public Works, Kuwait Foundation for Advancement of Sciences, the Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development and the Public Authority for Agriculture and Fish Resources.
