Journalists Syndicate's council expressed deep appreciation to the 50-strong panel that was tasked with amending the constitution for responding to all requests submitted by the syndicate. The council said, in a statement on Monday, that members of the committee sided with maintaining freedom of expression and publication as well as other public freedoms, especially in the field of journalism and media. The statement has thanked the head of the syndicate Diaa Rashwan for his unstinting support to the syndicate's demands during debates in the committee that lasted for about three months.
