Hamas movement Wednesday detained Palestine News and Information Agency’s (WAFA) correspondent for several hours, after it summoned him for interrogation, according to witnesses. Witness said that Hamas detained Fat’hi Tubeil, 57, under the pretext of participating in the sit-ins and events held in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Syria. The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate (PJS) denounced Hamas’ repeated summoning and detaining of Tubeil, considering such a measure serious and calling on Hamas to stop detaining the correspondent, who is only doing job.
