The Federation of Arab Journalists (FAJ) condemned the killing of Yemeni journalists Abdallah Qabeel and Yousef al Aziri, who were used by the Houthis rebels as human shields in Zamar province, south of the capital Sanaa.

A statement issued by FAJ on Tuesday said the violations committed against Yemeni media aimed at eliminating the freedom of press.

FAJ expressed solidarity with the Yemeni journalists and people, and condemned all violations against the media men.
