Egypt's Syndicate of Journalists will hold midterm elections on March 6 to fill six of the syndicate's board seats along with the chairman's.
In a statement on Wednesday, the syndicate said the notification for the polls will be issued on February 14, while the last date for filing nominations is February 18.
The syndicate also approved the use of a judicial panel of the State Council to help oversee the electoral process.
