Egyptian Information Minister Salah Abdel-Maksoud has met with Turkish prime ministerial adviser and diplomatic chief Jamal al-Din Hashmi, ahead of a delegation to Ankara in coming weeks. The meeting also discussed methods for supporting Egyptian-Turkish relations, particularly in communications sector business. State-run media in both countries could soon begin exchanging news and drama broadcasts, sources revealed.
