Investigation of Public Funds successfully arrested a hacker who steals personal data of some bank customer’s credit cards and utilizes them in getting services and commodities via electronic websites from their accounts. A number of bank officials have received reports that their customers are complaining about credit transaction processes which they have not done. Public fund investigators immediately worked to uncover the mystery of the crime. They found out that a former employee of an insurance company has utilized his acquaintances with other bank marketing delegates to exchange data of some customers and know their secret credit codes. Police raided the suspect’s apartment in Nasr City district in Cairo and found papers with credit data, a USB flash memory, two USB broadband internet, 35 mobile SIM cards, 14,780 statements of employees working at various ministries and authorities and around 3,000 credit card statements of various bank customers. The criminal admitted to have used such data in stealing as many as 300,000 pounds from various bank accounts.
