China\'s state-run TV stopped broadcasting Japanese firms\' advertisements on Sunday amid an escalating territorial dispute between China and Japan over islets in the East China Sea, a local report said. According to Shanghai-based Xinmin Evening News, China Central Television (CCTV) acknowledged it will stop running any TV commercials for Japanese companies and products on its major channels, CCTV-1, CCTV-4 and CCTV-13, temporarily from Sunday through Tuesday.
