Gumball 3000, for those of you who may not know, is a race for cool people who have cool cars. They basically go for a long drive for no other reason than having big fun. They drive all day, and party all night. Fabulous. One of the coolest guys taking part in this year’s Gumball 3000 is the ski master Jon Olsson, who brought his DMC-tuned Lamborghini Gallardo ski transporter and PPI Audi R8. Olsson is adamant to use a sort of super car to go to the slopes for practices and events. But as we all know there’s no supercar around with enough space for all the skiing gear a champ like Jon needs. So each time he goes to the specialists like DMC to create a bespoke ski box for his cars. These ski boxes are practical, but more importantly look very cool on the car. Jon himself drives his PPI Audi R8 in 2012 Gumball, while team-mate Elias is responsible for the DMC equipped Lamborghini Gallardo. Rumor has it they store champagne in those boxes instead of ski gear. These are moonshine cars!
