This is the Porsche 911 Club coupe, a limited version of the new 991 built as a tribute to the members of Porsche Clubs. For the privilege of owning one of these, you have to be a member of the club, obviously, and provide a check for €142,831. Then you will wait for Porsche to decided if they want to sell this car or not, because they’re only making 13 units, with one of them going to a museum or something like that. So there’s only 12 units available for sale. Despite the unreasonably high price tag, Porsche fans are expected to rush in to get one because this car is something special, a future classic. So what do you exactly get with the Club Coupe that you don’t get with a normal 991? For starters, this car has more power than a standard 991 – 430 PS – thanks to the Power Kit installed on the Carrera S engine. It is also pretty much fully loaded and has some extra stuff as well, such as Sport design package, 20-inch SportTechno wheels, Espresso natural leather interior with contrasting stitching, illuminated door sills and of course lots of badges and logos to remind every viewer this ain’t no ordinary arse-engined Porsche, it’s a Club Coupe. On top of all this, this special editions feature a unique ‘Brewster Green’ paint job. This sounds like a good money making trick for Porsche, you might be thinking, why are they going to make only 13? Well, this year marks the 60th anniversary of Porsche Clubs, which was founded in 1952 by 13 Porsche drivers. So it’s kind of an homage to them. They didn’t want to be insensitive and make more for the sake of making more money.
