The new Honda Civic sedan that might seem a bit familiar to US consumers has also been launched in Thailand earlier this month. Style-wise the car is more similar to the models sold in North America than to the version that preceded it. A new feature to the car is the availability of push start keyless entry for the more expensive models. The Civic also has a strange pair of reflector strips that ling the lights to the license plate at the back. As with the previous generation, the engines on offer include a 1.8-liter i-VTEC with 141 horsepower. Meanwhile the new 2.0-liter SOHC unit tuned for economy, since it only offers 144 horsepower. Both come with a five-speed manual. The only trim for the bigger engine is the 2.0 EL with Navigation.
