U.S. automobile regulators said General Motors is preparing to recall 44,668 2012 Chevy Sonics due to malfunctioning windshield-wiper fluid systems. The wiper washer hose can separate from the fluid reservoir, preventing the driver from keeping the windshield clean, officials said.
