Following communication with Toyota Motor Corporation, we have begun a customer service campaign on 7928 units 2012 year model Camry vehicles, and 319 units of 2012 year model Aurion vehicles, Simon Frith, Managing Director of Al-Futtaim Motors, reveals on Thursday. “Toyota Motor Corporation has informed us that there is a possibility that the fuel hose that connects the main fuel supply line to the engine may have become wrinkled during connector insertion, and in rare cases could result in abnormal wear of the fuel hose,” he added. “We will commence a service campaign from Sunday, August 12, 2012 and contact our customers directly for an appointment at our service centres in the interests of delivering the highest standards of Toyota product quality and customer care. “All vehicles will require a 45 minute inspection; however Toyota Motor Corporation has advised that only a small number of vehicles will require any components to be replaced,” Simon said. We regret any inconvenience this may cause and thank our customers for their patience and understanding. If any customers have further questions they can contact our customer care team on 04-2066002 (between 8am and 6pm Saturday to Thursday). In order to maintain the overall satisfaction of our customers, we will ensure that any inconvenience is kept to an absolute minimum and thank our customers for the patience and understanding.
