Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab issued a decision on having industrial firms pay for their actual consumption of natural gas as of January, 2011.

The new decision annuls decision no.1,765 of 2015 in this regard.

The decision was taken upon a resolution issued by the Supreme Council of Energy during a session held on August 11.
