Electricity tower

A high-pressure electricity tower came under sabotage act on Saturday in order to bring it down, said head of Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company Ahmed Hanafy.
The damaged electricity tower links Kafr el Dawar power station and Dmanhour power station in southern Kafr el Dawar, he added.
This sabotage act will not result in any power cuts due to the existence of an alternative source of electricity through the unified electricity grid, he said.
He further said that fixing the tower would take a week and will cost about 600,000 pounds.
