Petroleum Minister Sherif Ismail on Tuesday agreed to provide 2,000 tons of fuel oil to operate furnaces of two production lines of Tora Cement Company.

Manpower and Immigration Minister Nahid Ashrie had asked the Petroleum Ministry to provide the fuel oil for the company.

The minister's decision came out of keenness not to halt the production of the company after the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) suspended the delivery of the fuel oil.
