Beni Sueif water stations

The water quality of two water pumping stations in Beni Sueif governorate returned to a safe drinking standard as of Saturday, five days after the main transfer canals were polluted by arsenic thrown by local fishermen, Beni Sueif Governor Mohamed Seleim said Saturday.
Examination showed that the arsenic in the entire watercourse in the governorate was successfully cleaned up.
Environment protection teams will continue to monitor the water quality of the stations to ensure it is safe for use, he added.
