Two high-pressure electricity towers in Quesna and Kafr el Zaiyat were subjected to sabotage acts at 4:00 am on Sunday.
The two electricity towers will take two weeks to be fixed and will cost about 1 million pounds.
In a statement by the Electricity Ministry, it said that two electricity towers were subjected to sabotage acts.
It added that Abu Qir power station was brought to a halt as a result.
Lately electricity substations, towers and circuits have been subject to bombings and sabotage by assailants.
