President Abdel Fattah el Sisi met on Sunday with Agriculture Minister Salaheddine Hilal on a national project to reclaim one million feddans.

Hilal reviewed the latest developments of a project to establish a village east of the Suez Canal, said presidential spokesman Alaa Yousef.

Sisi asserted the importance of completing the village project, said the spokesman.

He also stressed the necessity to protect agricultural lands from encroachments.
