Chairman of the drinking water company in the Red Sea Yehya Sedeq asserted that the water coming to the governorate from Qena water line is safe and of high quality and was not affected by the phosphate-laden vessel that sank in the Nile River.
In statements on Saturday, Sedeq said that the water station is working with its full power.
The company worked on making sure that the water is free from any pollutants, he said.
